Bay Extension
Scope & Feasibility Engineering – Load growth analysis, short‑circuit studies, protection coordination, and multi‑vendor interoperability review to define optimal bay extension or retrofit strategies.
Primary Equipment Integration – Addition or replacement of breakers (GIS/AIS), isolators, CTs/VTs, surge arresters, busbar connections, and cable terminations with minimal disruption to existing topology.
Secondary Systems Upgrade – Retrofitting protection relays (numerical/digital), bay control units, interlocking schemes, and automation logic to align with updated protection philosophy and performance levels.
SCADA/IEC 61850 Integration – Engineering of communication mappings, GOOSE messaging, MMS, time synchronization, gateway upgrades, and seamless integration into the existing RTU/EMS/DMS.
Civil, Structural & Earthing Works – Foundations, cable trenches, marshalling kiosks, earthing augmentation, fire safety improvements, and layout optimization for new bays or panel replacements.
Outage Planning & Phased Execution – Safe work procedures (LOTO/PTW), cutover plans, temporary bypasses, and staged commissioning to reduce downtime and maintain grid reliability.
Testing, Commissioning & Compliance – Factory/site acceptance tests, primary/secondary injection, relay setting validation, scheme proving, and documentation per IEC/IS utility standards.
Lifecycle & Cybersecurity Readiness – Obsolescence management, spares strategy, O&M training, remote diagnostics, and cybersecurity hardening of IEDs/gateways in line with utility policies.
