  Primary Design Activities


  • Preperation of complete project deliverables and engineering documentation.
  • Review of technical specifications, vendor drawings, and compliance requirements.
  • Preparation of equipment specifications and coordination with all engineering disciplines.
  • Engineering calculations including busbar sizing, earthing (CDEGS), and electrical parameters.
  • Substation lighting design and analysis using Dialux.
  • Development of BOQ, SLDs, and detailed electrical layouts.
  • Preparation of bay layouts, elevations, and access (MEWP) planning.
  • Cable duct, trough routing, and connector/busbar schedule engineering.
  • Design of below‑ground and above‑ground earthing layouts.
  • Creation of Functional Design Specifications (FDS) and Construction Design Specifications (CDS).
  • Control room layouts, LVAC system SLDs, and LVAC strategy documentation.
  • Tender support, client discussions, technical clarifications, and on‑site coordination.

  Secondary Design Activities


  • LVAC load estimation and sizing of auxiliary transformers, batteries, and chargers.
  • Preparation of control schematics, panel schematics, and detailed electrical drawings.
  • Development of KLDs, LVAC SLDs, 110V AC SLDs, and 110/48V DC SLDs.
  • Execution of asset intervention work including replacement/refurbishment of CTs, CVTs, and disconnectors.
  • Preparation of Red/Green/New drawings for refurbishment and upgrade projects.
  • Creation of LVAC strategy reports and supporting technical documentation.
  • Review of technical specifications, vendor drawings, and equipment datasheets.
  • Preparation of equipment specifications for procurement and technical evaluation.
  • Inter‑disciplinary coordination with engineering teams and technical support at site.
  • Preparation of cable schedules along with routing and length estimation.
  • Tendering support including costing, man‑hour estimation, deliverables, and schedule inputs.
  • Preparation of Functional Design Specifications and participation in technical discussions with clients and site teams.

  Civil Design Activities


  • Design of substation equipment support structures in steel/aluminum, including all associated concrete foundations.
  • Control Room Building (CRB) design, covering architectural, structural, and steel frame components.
  • Transformer bund design, including GA drawings, RC plans, and construction details.
  • Firewall structural design for transformer separation and safety compliance.
  • Substation drainage planning, capacity checks, and detailed drainage layouts.
  • DH15 assessment for reuse of existing foundations and transformer bunds.
  • Foundation design for fences, gates, and lighting poles across the substation.
  • Overall Civil GA layout covering all new structures and site elements.
  • Detailed layouts for cable troughs/ducts and demolition works.
  • Construction deliverables, including foundation GAs, RC details, rebar schedules, Revit families, and building drawings.
